We’re always working to improve our systems and processes to make our customers life easier when they purchase hardware from us.
As an example, we recently delivered over 200 New Cisco SFP’s to one of our customers for a major upgrade. To help them handle and process that volume at their end, here are the steps we followed:
- Carefully hand check each SFP for damage and scan / record the serial number on our ESD protected lab bench
- Place the bundles of 10 in a padded anti-static bag
- Neatly label and pack each box with 5 x padded bags making 50 per box
- Promptly deliver the boxes of 50 out to site for distribution to the DC teams for installation
Sometimes it’s the little things that make the difference.
