Our Defence customer had an immediate need for a very specific type of data cable to complete a critical defence project. The lead time indication for this equipment was in excess of four weeks. Adding to the challenge was the need for this equipment to be delivered to a secure location in North America.

Working with our global network of suppliers we quickly identified a US partner who was holding stock of these cables. We then worked with one of our local agents in the US to expedite an express delivery of this equipment to the required location.
Key Outcomes:
The lead time of this order was drastically reduced from more than four weeks down to just four working days. This enabled our Defence customer to keep their project on track and successfully deliver a working solution to their customer within the originally agreed time frame.
