The Arista 7280R3A Series includes the model 7280CR3AM-24D12, a powerful and efficient switch designed for high-performance networking solutions. With a capacity of 24 100 Gigabit QSFP ports and 12 400 Gigabit QSFP-DD uplink ports, this switch is equipped to handle demanding data workloads with a throughput of up to 7.2 Tbps. The advanced architecture includes features such as VLAN support, routing protocols like OSPF and BGP, and multiple security measures including Access Control List (ACL) support and authentication via RADIUS or TACACS+. The resilient design ensures operational reliability with capabilities like hot-plug internal power supply and built-in 480 GB SSD for optimal data management. Operating within a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C, the switch is well-suited for various environments while maintaining efficient airflow with its bidirectional airflow design.
