Overview
The DCS-7816R3-FM is the fabric module for the Arista DCS-7816 chassis; 12 required (fabric slots 1-12) per system. The 7800R3 cell-based fabric sprays uniform cells across all fabric links for 100% efficiency, and fabric redundancy follows a graceful-degradation model – the system continues forwarding at reduced fabric capacity if a module is removed or fails.
