Touchpoint recently hosted an exclusive Defence Industry Customer Roundtable Dinner in Canberra, partnering with Dell Technologies to bring together leaders from across the defence and technology sectors. This event created a unique platform for collaboration, enabling meaningful conversations about innovation and the future of defence technology.
Throughout the evening, we welcomed representatives from leading organisations, including Raytheon, Anduril, BAE, KBR, L3Harris, Kongsberg, Viasat, Omni, Opes, and Ingram. These industry leaders shared insights on emerging technologies and the challenges of supporting Australian Defence in a rapidly evolving environment.
Our special guest was Major General (ret) Matt “Zap” Molloy, a former USAF fighter pilot and now Director of Dell’s Mission Management Office. Zap brought energy and expertise to the discussion, sparking a lively conversation on how AI-based technology solutions can transform defence operations. By sharing real-world perspectives, Zap helped attendees explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
Following the presentations, guests enjoyed a networking dinner that encouraged open dialogue and strengthened partnerships. Events like this matter, because they connect defence specialists with technology innovators, fostering solutions that address complex challenges.
Looking ahead, Touchpoint plans to host another AI-focused discussion soon. By continuing these conversations, we aim to build on the strong engagement from our Canberra guests and drive progress across the defence technology landscape.
A big thank you to our guests, Dell Technologies for their partnership, and Zap for his invaluable insights. Together, we’re shaping the future of defence technology.
