The SDN-ready MX2010 Universal Routing Platform is a high-capacity and high-performance carrier-grade routing platform that helps service providers and cloud operators address long-term growth with 40 Tbps of system capacity and industry-leading interface density.

With support for up to 16 Tbps of bidirectional throughput today, the MX2010 supports 960 10GbE interfaces, 240 40GbE interfaces, or 160 100GbE interfaces in a single chassis.

MX2010 Base and Premium Units can be configured to use AC or DC current flows:
