Early in January it was announced that HPE would be acquiring Juniper Enterprises for the price of US$14 billion. The transaction itself will occur either late this year or early in 2025.
The purchase bolsters HPE’s networking arm – they expect to double the size of the business. The product lines from each vendor will compliment each other in allowing HPE to offer a full networking portfolio. Of particular interest is Juniper’s Mist AI technology, which will enhance HPE’s existing offerings including its Aruba line.
