Powered by the Intel C236 chipset, the DX-1000 supports both Intel 6th and 7th generation processors ranging from Core i3 all the way up to Core i7 or Xeon processors, allowing you to scale the level of performance that your applications needs. The CPU is paired with support for up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory, making the DX-1000 a rugged powerhouse that can easily tackle heavy multitasking with support for up to three independent displays. The DX-1000 is also available with optional 4G LTE connectivity, enabling remote network access or failover protection.

The DX-1000 is a rugged and compact workstation ready to take on any environment. Through its extruded aluminum unibody fanless design, the DX-1000 is protected from dust, debris, chemical, and moisture ingress, greatly increasing the reliability and lifespan of the system. The rugged feature set continues with high shock and vibration tolerances, a wide operating temperature (varies by processor), and a wide input voltage of 9 ~ 48 V. When combined with flexible mounting options you get a system that can withstand the rigors of industrial computing, no matter where you put it.

Expansion capability is where the DX-1000 shines, giving you numerous options to customize an already versatile computing platform. The system provides a total of eight USB 3.0, four COM, dual DisplayPorts, dual Gb LAN, and a DVI-I port for a well-rounded I/O coastline. Three CMI modules for additional I/O (RJ45/M12 Gb LAN, COM, and DIO) and two CFM modules that grant power ignition sensing and PoE function truly allows you to make the DX-1000 what you need it to be. On top of that, there are dual 2.5” hot-swap bays and four full-height mPCIe/mSATA slots for wireless, I/O expansion, or high-speed storage drives.
CELLULAR CONNECTIVITY
This system is compatible with our Extrovert 4G LTE technology, an integrated modem pre-certified to operate on many of the world’s most popular cellular carrier networks. Extrovert 4G LTE hardware is ideal for today’s mobile, edge computing and Industrial Internet of Things applications. To take advantage of this feature, simply configure your system with Extrovert 4G LTE connectivity and then contact your carrier to activate.
