Powered by the quad-core Intel Bay Trail E3845 processor, the DC-1100 perfectly balances energy efficiency (consuming less than 20 watts) and processing power. Easily tackling everything from simple embedded computing tasks to HD-intensive and multi-display applications, the DC-1100 overcomes the limitations of other similarly-sized industrial systems. The DC-1100 is also available with optional 4G LTE connectivity, enabling remote network access or failover protection.

COMPACT FOOTPRINT, FLEXIBLE DESIGN

All that functionality is wasted if it can’t be protected in the environments where it’s needed, so the DC-1100 is built to last, enclosed in a compact, fully fanless and ventless enclosure that protects it against dust, dirt, and vibration. Removing the fan as a point of failure also ensures long-time reliability, even in the harshest deployments. Paired with wide-temp memory and an SSD, the system is capable of operating in -20°C to 70°C.

FIT, FORM AND FUNCTION

The DC-1100 manages to pack a diverse array of I/O into its small form factor, with four RS-232/422/485 COM ports, dual Gb LAN, and programmable 8-bit DIO. The system can also power dual independent displays over DVI-I or DisplayPort. Wide input 9~48 V DC power is supplied via a 3-pin terminal block connector for stable, secure power even in vibration-prone or fluctuating power environments. In addition to externally accessible CFast and SIM card slots, the DC-1100 is equipped with dual PCIe Mini Card slots that can be used for wireless connectivity or even additional I/O, thanks to the modular expansion bay on the front of the unit.
