Powered by a 6th Generation Intel Skylake Core i CPU, the Nuvo-5100VTC offers significantly more computing power, faster data processing and enhanced graphics performance over previous processor generations. Designed for high-performance mobile applications, the Nuvo-5100VTC takes advantage of the improvements to Intel’s Skylake chips to deliver a 40% increase in terms of performance per watt than former generations. Utilization of the Intel Q170 chipset also allows up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory, making this in-vehicle fanless controller perfect for the emerging high-end requirements of intelligent video analysis.

MOBILE COMPUTING IN A RUGGED SHELL

Engineered to stand up to some of the most extreme computing environments, the E-Mark and EN 50155 certified Nuvo-5100VTC features a fanless, ventless enclosure that protects against dirt and other airborne debris. Hardened against shock and vibration, and rated for operation in temperatures as low as -25°C and as high as 70°C, this passively cooled in-vehicle controller is protected from the risks of clogged fans, and its solid state design helps to ensure longer life. The Nuvo-5100VTC supports a wide-input 8~35 V DC, built-in ignition control, and an on-board CAN bus to interface with a vehicle’s battery and protect the system with ignition sensing and gentle shutdowns.
